Reading Specialist Tutor for Children and Teens

Our son went to transitional kindergarten before regular K but he still struggled to learn. By mid-year his teacher was concerned because he wasn't reading. He knew many of his letter sounds but couldn't seem to put them together to read words. Schools are expecting kids to read like first graders in kindergarten now. My 6 year old was diagnosed with a learning disability and after a cross country move and a big change in curriculum he got to the end of his Kindergarten year and didn't meet any of the academic benchmarks. Dear Mrs. Ross, The one thing I'd like to tell other parents who are considering your program is what a difference it can make in your child's confidence and self-esteem. Brooklyn was embarrassed because she couldn't read as well as her friends. Her teacher let us know that she was falling behind, but Brooklyn started putting up a fuss whenever I tried to help her.
