Reading Specialist Tutor for Children and Teens

I reached out to Jeannie because my daughter wasn't learning to read fluently. With Covid the classroom teacher wasn't equipped to challenge the gifted learners, and she didn't teach phonics in a systematic manner. It was more hit and miss. 5/22/11 My daughter is bright and we wanted to send her to the best private school in the San Diego area where entrance into the school is very competitive.  I wanted my daughter to have the best education possible, so I brought her to Mrs. Ross for some phonics lessons the summer before she was to begin kindergarten. Within 5 months she was reading at the 2nd grade level! She can sound out any word she sees. Now she loves to go to the library and pick out chapter books to entertain herself. Not only that, but she has a hunger for learning that she never had before. Mrs. Ross uses all of the senses and makes learning fun. It's not something you will find with any other tutor.
